Definition: Microblading is a semi- permanent eyebrow tattoo using a tiny handheld blade to infuse pigment into the skin through small “hair-like” strokes that simulate the appearance of natural hair

Lasts: 1-2 years. A touch up session is required 8-10 weeks after your first session, and after that it is recommended to get annual touch ups to keep the color fresh and the shape precise.

Ideal For: Normal/ Dry skin types, those with normal or sparse brows looking for more fullness, those with little to no brow hair.

Not Ideal For: Oily/ Very mature skin, those taking blood thinners or hormonal therapy, anyone prone to keloids.

Pain: Mild to Moderate. Topical numbing cream is available. Please note that you will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle.

Healing: Your healed microblading results can vary dependent on a variety of different factors including skin type, lifestyle, direct sun exposure, and following the proper aftercare instructions. Directly following your procedure your brows will go through a 28 day healing cycle where they will appear darker for 2-3 days, may experience light scabbing the following 3-4 days and then appear lighter until your touch up session. Please understand that it is impossible to predict exactly how each individual’s results will heal since there are so many different factors that come into play. More detailed information on what exactly to expect from the healing process is listed below.

Defintion: A semi- permanent eyebrow tattoo using a machine to create a soft “powder like” effect creating depth and dimension to the brows. This look mimics more of a filled in makeup look to the brows. The eyebrows can be created as softly shaded and natural or as prominent/ bold with sharper edges as you would like, depending on your preference.

The major difference between the two is the style. Microblading has the “hair-like” strokes visible whereas the powder brows will have no strokes visible and will appear much more shaded. Another difference between the two services is the application technique. Microblading uses a small blade attached to a disposable hand tool to create the strokes whereas the powder brows uses a handheld tattoo machine.

Combo brows combines both microblading and powder brows techniques. The most common form of “combo brows” is to have visible microblading strokes in the front of the brow, and defined powder brow shading along the arch and tail of the brow. Another style of “combo brows” is to do microblading throughout the entire brow and add shading in-between the microblading strokes, with the shading primarily focused more on the arch and outer end of the brow for added depth and dimension.

“Ombre brows” are a form of Powder Brows, but this style focuses on much lighter shading in the front of the brow that gradually transitions into darker, more definition along the arch and tail of the brow.

Yes! We use a new single -use disposable needle on each and every client that we open in front of you before the procedure to ensure the utmost safety for both the client and artist.

We always block out 3 hours for each appointment, but usually between 3-4 hours depending on the specific service. The first hour of the appointment is utilized to fill out paperwork, and carefully measure out and map the brows to ensure perfect symmetry. This is also where the artist and client make adjustments to make sure they are perfectly satisfied with the shape. The next 2-3 hours is the actual microblading/ powder brow procedure.

Yes – Results and color retention vary depending on factors such as the type of skin, following the proper aftercare instructions, sun exposure, lifestyle and skin tone. Please keep in mind these factors based on skin type:

OILY SKIN – tends to ‘push out’ the ink quicker and may need more frequent touch ups and heal extra powdery

DARKER SKIN – will have less contrast and may heal even more powdery or solid looking than lighter tones. The darker the skin tone, the less detail you will see.

MATURE SKIN – is very fine, delicate and thin. It tends to heal more “powdery” and microblading strokes can heal on the thicker side. Results are very unpredictable.

*The final results are not guaranteed to replace makeup- you may still need to use a pencil or powder to create your own unique, desired look. The ultimate goal is to have natural looking, balanced brows*

Yes, you can! In most situations previous permanent or semi-permanent makeup can be covered with beautiful hair strokes or powder brow shading, but there are times when previous PMU may be too dark, the skin may be badly scarred or the previous shape does not fit into our natural desired shape. In these cases, it is safer not working on the brows.

The best time to do Microblading/ Powder Brows is 14 days before or after vacation. 14 days gives the outer layer of the skin time to heal and to protect it from water and sun damage. After vacation skin may be burnt, so it’s better to allow natural complexion and texture to resurface.

If you are going to have Botox done on your forehead area, you must wait at least 2 weeks before we can move forward with your microblading/ powder brow appointment. It takes a minimum of 2 weeks for the Botox to settle and for the brows to fall into their correct place, especially if a brow lift was done using injectables. If you are going to have any kind of filler or injectables done anywhere on your face, you must wait at least 2 weeks before we move forward with your microblading/powder brow appointment. If you are planning to have any Botox or injectables done on your forehead area AFTER your microblading/powder brow appointment, we ask that you wait a minimum of 4 weeks to allow your brows a chance to complete a full healing cycle.

Yes! After the first procedure your brows must go through a 10-30 day healing process (It takes the skin a minimum of 28 days to completely heal). Through this process your skin will regenerate, scab, change in color and shape and may appear slightly patchy until touch up day. This is an essential process to go through to allow the artist and client to see how your individual skin reacts to the process and how the brows will retain color and heal. The second “touch up” appointment is where the shape and color of the brow is really achieved and is extremely important to solidify the results that you are really looking for. The touch up appointment is scheduled 8-10 weeks after the first appointment in order to ensure proper and complete healing and cannot be done before the 4- week mark.

Day 1 – finely detailed, slight redness

Day 2-4 – Brows become darker and appear more filled in as they form a light scab. Don’t panic, this is only temporary!

Day 5-12– the scab naturally exfoliates, peels and flakes away over the course of several days. The fresh skin underneath is white and has a waxy coating, making it appear that the brows are too light. Be patient, all things worth having take time!

Day 10-30 – After 10 days you may use brow makeup very gently if needed. The color will slowly come back to life and bloom back to the surface as that new, white skin settles in and heals. Wait at least 4 weeks to see the true color, as it will take on new strength.

*Don’t worry, we will review and send you home with all proper aftercare instructions at the end of your appointment and you will be guided through each step of the healing process! *

Malignant Diseases– (cancer, leukemia, sarcomas): Also contraindications for Microblading. The main reason for this is that organism’s immune response (defense) are deteriorated in those health conditions and the patients are prone to infections. In this case, clients should first wait for the treatment (chemotherapy, radiation therapy, immune or hormonal therapy) to be finished and the patient enters steady remission to carry out the treatment. These clients too will need to have doctor’s consent before carrying out the procedure.

High Blood Pressure– or hypertension is a common chronic health condition that in most cases will not be something that should prevent you from doing the treatment. Most important thing is that the client takes his or her BP medications regularly.

Bleeding Disorders– Hemophilia A (factor VIII deficiency), Hemophilia B (factor IX deficiency), Von Willebrand Disease, and rare deficiencies including I,II,V,VII, X, XI, XI and XIII. In such conditions an unstoppable bleeding can be caused by minor trauma and can seriously endanger patients health.

Pregnancy and Breast Feeding– Cannot carry out treatment

Skin Conditions:

Vitiligo– affected skin is in general normal skin only without melanin, and therefore placed pigment will be easier to see and will appear darker than in normal skin.

Psoriasis, Eczema: treatment can be done as long as the area we are working on is not affected

*Bleeding can be increased by: menstrual cycle, alcohol, aspirin, blood thinners, vitamin E, fish oil, use of acne medications, rosacea, extreme exfoliation, or when skin is not fully recovered after an intense treatment such as chemical peels or laser *

Definition: Eyebrow Henna is a natural brow tint that not only tints the eyebrow hair for 4-6 weeks, but also stains the surrounding skin for up to two weeks. Just like traditional Henna art, it is created from the Indian Hinna plant. It mimics the look of a “filled in” makeup look to the brows and should eliminate the need to fill in your eyebrows for 1-2 weeks.

What is the difference between a regular brow tint and brow henna?

The difference between the brow henna and a regular brow tint is that in addition to tinting the brow hair for 4-6 weeks like the brow tint, it also stains the skin for between 1-2 weeks.

How many different Brow Henna color options are available?

There are 6 different colors available ranging from the lightest blonde to the darkest brunette, none of which will leave an orange hue to the skin after they fade like regular henna.

Definition: A very thorough exfoliation of the skin that removes dead skin build up and vellous hair (peach fuzz). This procedure is completely painless!

Softens the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
    Improves mild acne scarring

    Smoother makeup application

None! Instant results and gratification. Few that are prone to redness may experience slight redness following the procedure that should dissipate after 20-30 minutes.
